About Us

A home built on legacy, hosted with love.

The Spirit of Dilip Niwas

Dilip Niwas is more than a luxe property — it is the soul of a family that has blended enterprise, culture, and heartfelt hospitality into one intimate experience. Every guest who walks through our doors finds not just a place to stay, but a home where belonging comes naturally.

The Custodians of Dilip Niwas

Shri Devendra Singh Shaktawat and Smt. Kiran Khangarot are the proud custodians of Dilip Niwas. Their story, spanning decades of enterprise and community work, shapes the values on which this property stands today.

For over thirty years, Shri Devendra Singh Shaktawat has led Shree Dhanop Marble, a respected mining venture known for exporting fine-quality marble. His journey as a mine owner is not just about building a successful business, but also about supporting livelihoods and fostering community growth in the region.

Beside him, Smt. Kiran Khangarot nurtures Amar Creations, a social initiative that empowers village women through craft. By teaching them wool work, gaadi moda, knitting, and stitching — all free of cost — she has enabled rural women to gain skills, confidence, and independence. Amar Creations is a movement of empowerment and heritage preservation, where artistry becomes a bridge to opportunity.

Together, they embody the values of care, culture, and community, ensuring that Dilip Niwas is not just a property but a legacy of hospitality. Their warmth, spirituality, and love for food have naturally made this house a space where everyone feels welcome.

The Present Hosts

Aryaveer & Ritika

Carrying forward this spirit of care and hospitality are Aryaveer and Ritika, the resident hosts of Dilip Niwas.

Aryaveer
Aryaveer brings years of international hospitality experience, having worked in New Zealand for over eight years in the tourism industry. His global outlook combined with his deep Rajputana roots makes him a natural host, blending professionalism with cultural authenticity.
Ritika
Ritika, with a background in human resources and a strong passion for social work, brings creativity, warmth, and an eye for detail. A homemaker who loves cooking and décor, she ensures that every corner of the property reflects care and character.

Together, they make every guest feel like an extension of the family. Whether it’s a cup of chai shared in the garden, a guided cooking session, or help in planning a day in Udaipur, their hospitality is personal, genuine, and memorable.

Rajputana Culture in Everyday Life

The essence of Rajput culture runs through every part of Dilip Niwas.

  • In the Architecture : The home reflects heritage with touches of traditional design, colors, and textures.
  • In the Cuisine : Generational recipes like Laal Maas, Dal Baati Churma, and Ker Sangri tell stories of Rajasthan’s culinary wealth.
  • In the Values : Respect, care, and generosity are extended to every guest, just as they would be to a family member.
  • Here, heritage is not showcased as a performance — it is lived in everyday life.
